The fabulous actress of PTV, Begum Khurshid Shahid passed away at the age of 95-years - SHOWBIZ The fabulous actress of PTV, Begum Khurshid Shahid passed away at the age of 95-years One of the most senior and fabulous actresses of the Pakistan Television (PTV) Begum Khurshid Shahid passed away on Sunday at the age of 95-years. She was a celebrated radio presenter as well. The death of Begum Khurshid was also confirmed by her son, Salman Shahid, who is also an actor. Some time ago, Begum Khurshid was admitted to a hospital after suffering a cardiac arrest and was put on a ventilator. Begum Khurshid was laid-to-rest in the DHA Phase 7 cemetery in Lahore. At the age of 9, Begum Khurshid Shahid started her career in Delhi. She was an actor and a singer at All India Radio. After migration in 1947, she joined the Lahore theater and became a prominent figure.
